Staff Picks: CBRL’s Best of 2022

As 2022 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the last twelve months and look back at the year's highlights, including all of the amazing books we’ve read. We asked the staff at Cape Breton Regional Library: "What was the best book you read in 2022?" We know that's a difficult question for an avid reader -- some might say it’s practically impossible. Nevertheless, CBRL staff were up for the challenge and managed to narrow down their favourite books to one title each. The list includes both new releases and older books that we discovered for the first time in 2022. We hope their carefully considered picks will inspire you to add a few titles to your own TBR list!
